OPPO A5s is the latest entry into the company’s A series of smartphones. It is powered by a new MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The phone has a 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The front panel is covered with Gorilla Glass 3. The device also has a notch and is available in a single configuration. The smartphone features dual 4G VoLTE, dual 4G VoWiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and Beidou Galileo.
The OPPO A5s also comes with a dedicated expandable microSD card slot, which allows users to increase the device’s storage capacity. The phone also ships with a large 4230mAh battery unit, which is enough for one day of normal usage. In real-world usage, the device’s battery lasted for thirteen hours and twenty minutes.
Oppo A5s also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear. It is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo and features a custom skin called ColorOS 5.2. It has some great features, including an expandable storage slot, a pop-out tray called the Smart Sidebar, and a notification management system. The phone also ships with OPPO App Store and Google apps. OPPO’s ColorOS also includes security features and a Kid Space.

The Oppo A5s also comes with an all-digital zoom, which enables users to zoom in on their shots. It also has a standard camera on the back. However, the rear camera does not support optical zoom and comes with no dedicated night mode. In low-light conditions, the camera cannot accurately separate the background from the foreground. The Oppo A5s does not support Widevine L1 or Asphalt 9.
The Oppo A5s comes with a lone speaker on the front panel, which is placed at the base of the device. This can be a drawback, as the volume can become excessive at times. The device also has a rounded rear panel and has a glossy finish. It is also made from plastic, and weighs about 145 grams.
Overall, the Oppo A5s has great cameras and a clean design, but the phone has some serious shortcomings. While the smartphone is a good choice for everyday tasks, it is not a good choice for mobile photography. While the photos have good detail, they also come with washed-out colors and a lack of edge detection.
